Our Fort Collins based WordPress design team has been busy this past year working contracts for several larger clients. We most recently did a WordPress redesign for our client Party Guru Productions, they specialize in event promotion and work with the biggest companies across the United states including AXS, LiveNation, and huge festivals like Backwoods Music Festival, and Imagine Music Festival.
We began this development by taking over an older WordPress website that was running into hosting issues that the current development team couldn’t handle at the time. They contacted us and got us in touch with the client to further assist. Their WordPress website was about 4 years old but had over 2500 content post types setup in the backend including custom events post type as well as 700ish posts about music releases and events.
Their website also needed a modern design and we were able to facilitate an incrediblly quick development window of just around a month for a absolutely huge website. After doing an SEMRush Site Audit on the website we figured out a lot of WordPress posts were performing poorly due to the performance of the current theme and a BUNCH of images that were full HD.
Our first steps were to go in and compress all these images using our favorite Image Compressor WPMU’s Smush Pro, this quickly saved a lot of foot work by SUPER compressing all the images. This allowed us to get the website small enough so we could move it easily.
